First off, we love the Lord, we love each other, we love others, and we love what we do. When you choose us to document your wedding, you are choosing people who will be 100% invested in you, and who will work their booties off to provide you with the best. We develop a relationship with all of our couples; we get to know who they are. Because how can we adequately and accurately tell your story, if we don’t even know it?!
Photography has enabled us to be a part of so many beautiful occasions. We get to tell people's stories. We are chosen to document their most precious moments. And we absolutely love that. We have a front-row seat to some of the most treasured memories of people's lives. We are truly blessed to be able to experience so many happy things, let alone, document them.
We have been there as a momma cries, while seeing her sweet daughter, looking so grown, in a lacy, white gown. We have waited with brides as they anxiously look out the window of their room, praying one last time before they become a wife. We have seen the sweetest reactions from grooms, as their brides walk down the aisle. I have pictured myself as the mother, tearfully dancing with her little boy, one last time, before he leaves her to start his own family. We have teared up watching daughters shed tears on their dads suits, while dancing to songs that promise that they’ll always be their baby girl.
I could go on and on, really. We love what we do because we get to be there for all of these amazing things. We get to document the most intimate moments in the lives of my clients. I think I have literally cried at every single wedding that I have photographed this year, because I empathize with my clients in these happy, and, sometimes, bittersweet occasions.
