After hearing their story, it felt pretty obvious that Tyler & Kate’s relationship timing unfolded exactly the way it was supposed to. These two met in middle school but didn’t start dating until high school. After growing up together, then spending a couple of years apart in early adulthood, they eventually found their way back to each other. Watching them become husband and wife after everything they’d been through together made their wedding day that much more meaningful!

When they told us they had chosen Central Park of Eolia for their wedding, we were excited. It’s one of those venues that feels like a hidden gem. It has the peaceful beauty of the countryside but still feels elegant and luxurious. Between the gorgeous outdoor ceremony space, the spacious bridal suite, and the accommodating reception hall, there are so many incredible spots for photos without ever leaving the property.

A Quiet Morning of Private Vows

Tyler and Kate wanted to exchange private vows before the ceremony. Instead of choosing between a first look or waiting until the aisle, they came up with one of the sweetest ideas we’ve seen. They met outside the honeymoon suite early that morning, both still in pajamas with coffee in hand, and read their vows to each other before the day officially began. It was quiet, emotional, and such a beautiful way to start the day. Afterward, they prayed together before heading off to get ready separately.

A Romantic Outdoor Ceremony in the Missouri Countryside

Missouri weather always likes to keep things interesting, and just as Kate started walking down the aisle with both of her parents, a few sprinkles began to fall. Thankfully they disappeared almost as quickly as they came, and the sun broke through for the rest of the ceremony. One detail we’ll never forget was hearing Kate’s voice play over the speakers as she walked toward Tyler. Overtop of live ceremony music, Kate had recorded a personal message for Tyler to hear as she approached the altar. There wasn’t a dry eye in sight!

We snuck away for portraits around the property. Golden hour at Central Park of Eolia never disappoints, and the warm summer light paired with the rolling countryside gave us the dreamiest backdrop for Tyler and Kate’s portraits.

The reception was full of hilarious speeches, an unforgettable father-daughter dance, and one of the sweetest moments of the evening when Kate surprised her mom with a bouquet made to match her own wedding flowers as a thank-you for everything she’d done. Once the dance floor opened, it stayed packed the rest of the night.
